Chapter 5: Karma Sanyasa Yoga

Renunciation of Action

Chapter Summary

Arjuna asks Lord Krishna which is better: renunciation of work or work in devotion? Krishna answers that work in devotion is better. One who performs his duty without attachment, surrendering the results unto the Supreme Lord, is unaffected by sinful action, as the lotus leaf is untouched by water.
