Step-by-Step Procedure
Making Govardhan
Create a small hillock using cow dung to represent Govardhan Parvat. Decorate it with flowers and sugarcane.
Sankalpa & Invocation
Take a vow to perform the pooja. Invoke Lord Krishna into the Govardhan hillock.
Worship (Pooja)
Offer Roli, Rice, and Flowers to the Govardhan. Light the lamp and incense sticks.
Annakut Offering
Offer a mountain of food (Annakut) consisting of various vegetarian dishes, sweets, and fruits to Lord Krishna.
Parikrama
Perform Parikrama (circumambulation) around the Govardhan hillock while chanting Krishna mantras.
Aarti
Perform the Govardhan Aarti and distribute the Annakut Prasad among devotees.

Meaning: I bow to the lifter of Govardhana Hill, the protector of cows, the Lord of Gokula's festivals, Govinda, the beloved of the Gopis.
