Materials Required
- Idol or Picture of Lord Hanuman
- Sindoor (Vermilion) & Jasmine Oil
- Red Flowers (Hibiscus/Rose)
- Sweets (Ladoo, Boondi)
- Tulsi Leaves & Garland
- Betel Leaves (Paan)
- Incense Sticks & Ghee Lamp
- Panchamrit (Milk, Curd, Ghee, Honey, Sugar)
- Hanuman Chalisa Book
Step-by-Step Procedure
Purification & Sankalpa
Wake up early, take a bath, and wear clean clothes (preferably red). Clean the pooja area and take a vow to perform the pooja with devotion.
Invocation
Place the idol on a red cloth. Light the lamp and incense. Pray to Lord Ganesha and Lord Rama before invoking Hanuman Ji.
Abhishekam & Chola
Bathe the idol with Panchamrit and water. Apply a paste of Sindoor and Jasmine oil (Chola) to the entire idol.
Offerings
Offer red flowers, a garland of Tulsi or Betel leaves, and sweets like Ladoo or Boondi.
Chanting
Recite the Hanuman Chalisa, Bajrang Baan, or Sundarkand. Chant "Om Hanumate Namah".
Aarti
Perform the Hanuman Aarti ("Aarti Kije Hanuman Lala Ki") and distribute Prasad.

"Manojavam Maruta Tulya Vegam

Meaning: I take refuge in the messenger of Sri Rama (Hanuman), who is as fast as the mind and wind, the master of the senses, the most intelligent among the wise, the son of the Wind God, and the chief of the Vanara army.
