Inaugural Ganesh Puja

Seeking blessings for new beginnings (Griha Pravesh, Office Opening)

Materials Required

Clean the area (Ishanya corner/North-East). Sprinkle Gangajal. Place the idol on a raised platform (Chowki) covered with red cloth.

Fill the Kalash with water, coin, and betel nut. Place mango leaves and a coconut on top. This symbolizes the universe.

Take water and rice in your right hand. State your name, location, and the purpose of the puja (e.g., new office opening) and pray for success.

Invoke Lord Ganesha into the idol. Offer turmeric, kumkum, rice, and flowers. Light the lamp and incense.

Offer Durva grass (very important), sweets (Modak), and fruits. Pray for the removal of all obstacles in the new venture.

Perform the Ganesha Aarti. Distribute Prasad to everyone present.
